Welcome to the House at the CrossroadsThe House at the Crossroads (HATC), open since February of 2005, has several events and community service activities underway. Throughout the year, the HATC hosts events such as lectures, forum discussions, films, music, and art exhibitions. These events are open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend any event of interest. In addition, the HATC provides opportunities, such as English as a Second Language classes, to serve those in the community. Our Vision: To Engage and Serve House at the Crossroads is a local Christian culture-center dedicated to benefiting our community by using its space for service (ESL classes etc), religious and philosophical dialogue (lectures etc), and cultural analysis (film viewings, forums etc) from the perspective of the church's universal confession of Christ as summarized in the ancient ecumenical creeds. As servants of this Lord, we seek to provide a hospitable environment to serve, listen to, and lovingly engage our neighbors in dialogue about our shared human experience in all its dimensions. Please contact us if you would like to attend any of these activities or feel free to drop in. If you are interested in volunteering please talk to us. We are always looking for new opportunities to effectively serve our community. The HATC is affiliated with the Wallace Presbyterian church, which meets on the same campus at that of House at the Crossroads. For any who are interested, services start at 10:30 A.M. on Sunday mornings. Note: Philosophy Discussion Group tab coming soon. In the meantime, please look under "Lectures & Forums."
